Ryan Swineford

Currently residing in Middleburg with his wife and child, Ryan has a history of leading and teaching others from adults to children. Before coming to Affordable Fuels full-time, Ryan worked in another industry for 15 years before recognizing the need for a career change. He switched gears and went to college to receive his teaching degree in elementary education. Ryan loved teaching for several years and had helped out the landscaping crew at Blesst Landscapes (one of Affordable Fuels’ sister companies) during the summer months. A blessing in disguise, Ryan was unfortunately furloughed from his teaching position after the school district decided to downsize, but quickly took steps to continue to work. During the summer of 2020, Ryan accepted a General Manager position and became a part of the Affordable Fuels Family.

At Affordable Fuels and Blesst Landscapes, Ryan does a bit of everything. As the General Manager and Landscape Supervisor, you can often see Ryan landscaping, plowing snow, delivering oil, and even some human resource tasks. “I love working at the company because the owners are great to work for and the team is great to work with,” Ryan happily exclaims.

When he’s not helping Affordable Fuels and Blesst Landscapes out wherever he’s needed, you can find Ryan outside enjoying nature with family and friends. And when it’s time to relax, Ryan likes to kick back and take pleasure in the peace of a crackling campfire.
